Relationship of Time (Present-Past-Future) & Emotions (Sadness-Anger-Fear)

Introduction

We all experience pain, anger, and fear from time to time. These emotions can be triggered by past experiences, present circumstances, or future worries. While these emotions are normal, they can be debilitating if we allow them to control us.

In this blog post, we will discuss how to deal with pain, anger, and fear in the past, present, and future. We will explore how to learn from past experiences, respond thoughtfully to present challenges and prepare for future uncertainties.

Past: Pain or Learning?

The past is a source of pain for many people. We may have experienced trauma, loss, or disappointment. These experiences can leave us feeling sad, angry, or afraid.

However, the past is also a source of learning. When we reflect on our past experiences, we can identify the lessons that we need to learn. These lessons can help us to avoid making the same mistakes in the future.

"Weak minds mourn over a bad experience, Strong minds learn from a bad experience and they move on."

How to Deal with Pain from the Past:

  • Allow yourself to feel the pain. Don't try to suppress it or deny it.
  • Talk to someone you trust about what you're going through.
  • Find healthy ways to express your pain, such as journaling, exercise, or art.
  • Focus on the lessons that you can learn from your past experiences.
  • Forgive yourself and others for any mistakes that were made.

Present: Angry Reactions or Thoughtful Responses?

The present moment is where we experience anger most acutely. We may feel angry at a person, a situation, or even ourselves.

When we feel angry, it's important to pause and reflect before we react. Our anger can cloud our judgment and make us say or do things that we later regret.

"Weak minds react to problems, Strong minds respond to a problem."

How to Deal with Anger in the Present:

  • Take a few deep breaths to calm down.
  • Identify the source of your anger.
  • Is it something that you can control? If not, let it go.
  • If you can control it, take steps to address the situation.
  • Express your anger in a healthy way, such as through exercise or talking to a friend.

Future: Fear or Predictions and Preparations?

The future is a source of fear for many people. We may worry about things that might happen, such as losing our job, getting sick, or dying.

However, the future is also a source of hope. When we plan for the future, we can take steps to make it a reality.

"Weak minds fear the problems, Strong minds predict and prepare for the problems to fight."

How to Deal with Fear of the Future:

  • Identify the things that you're afraid of.
  • Are they realistic fears? If not, let them go.
  • If they are realistic fears, take steps to prepare for them.
  • Don't let fear control your life. Focus on the things that you can control.

Conclusion:

Pain, anger, and fear are all normal emotions. However, if we allow them to control us, they can have a negative impact on our lives. By learning how to deal with these emotions in a healthy way, we can live happier and more fulfilling lives.

Caste System: Bhagwat Geeta Chapter 18, Verse 41

Why was the caste system created? The exact origins of the caste system are complex and debated, but it is generally believed to have emerged in India around 1500 BCE. There are several theories about why the caste system was created, but the most common explanations include: Social division of labor: One theory suggests that the caste system arose as a way to organize society and assign different occupational roles. The four main castes, Brahmins (priests and intellectuals), Kshatriyas (warriors and rulers), Vaishyas (merchants and traders), and Shudras (laborers and servants), were believed to be divinely ordained and reflected the different tasks needed to maintain a functioning society. Does it matter in modern society?
